Christine Smith's one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry is worn by sophisticated women throughout the world, and has been featured in the Palm Beach Post, David Patrick Columbia's New York Social Diary, and worn by guests on CNN’s HLN. Inspired by her a talented mother and aunt- who specialized in Couture that ranged from chic evening wear to elegant wedding attire in a high-end Longmeadow, MA boutique- Christine has been designing wearable art since she was a young child. Her career started at the Farmington Valley Art Center in Avon, CT. She has studied metal-smithing and design under nationally known jewelry educators, and her design skill merges with her Bohemian Heritage, resulting in an array of baroque treasures and pieces of art that would not be out of place in a museum. Christine regularly travels to Europe to hand select special decorative components that add her signature flair to each design.
I just wanted to let you know how much I love your jewelry. It is so exquisite. The hand knotting is beautiful and your designs are unique. Every time I wear a piece I receive compliments and questions about where they can buy a piece. Thank you for sharing your talent with us
Fondly, Claudie Blozy
I had been in the jewelry business for over 20 years when I first met Christine Smith and saw her remarkable necklaces. I was immediately struck by the combination of colors and the unusual gemstones she mixed together to form her unforgettable jewelry. She is adept at using materials like silver wire and silk ribbon mixed with pearls, agates, gemstones and crystals to form fun and functional necklaces. Christine Smith uses the largest and most exciting gemstones that I have ever seen. One of my best sellers was the 10-12MM faceted bead necklaces strung on her signature red silk. Never was one just enough for my customer’s. You can make a bold statement with Christine’s pieces or be more subtle, she has it all.
